You can do your part in spreading awareness about the harsh reality faced by girls in developing countries overseas by reposting any story that resonates with you on your Instagram account.
Simply head over to our Instagram page (@worldvisionsg), find your favorite post or story, screenshot and repost! Don't forget to use the #StandUpForGirls hashtag!
This simple act of lending your voice to the voiceless allows them to be heard, and encourages others to join you in helping to free girls from poverty and injustice.
Curate your very own #StandUpForGirls campaign in your school, church or community as an individual or with friends to raise awareness about the vulnerabilities of girls.
Let your creative juices flow and design a campaign that can take the form of interactive exhibits, experiential activities, or any other exciting set-ups!
Let us know if you’d like to feature photos and stories from the field as part of your advocacy efforts, or to invite a guest speaker.
Drop us an email at email@example.com if you would like to start your own campaign!
Gather a group of friends or your family members and join the movement to sponsor 1,000 girls by the International Day of the Girl on 11 Oct!
Help break the harsh cycle of realities that leads to girls being forced into child labour and child marriage, and experiencing other forms of discrimination.
With just $45 a month, you can sponsor a girl and make a world of difference in her life.
