Since violence broke out in Rakhine State, Myanmar, in August 2017, almost a million people have fled their burning houses and the strife which arose, in desperate search of safety. Home for them is now in the refugee camps of Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. Many lack access to nutritious food and lack healthcare support for newborn babies.
In response, World Vision is distributing basic baby kits to families with infants, food vouchers to the most vulnerable households, and providing access to better healthcare for children, and pregnant and lactating mothers.
