The COVID-19 pandemic showed us all that life can change in an instant. Personal hygiene, social distancing, working from home have taken on a whole new meaning. But for millions living in refugee camps, whose lives are marked with instability, conflict and violence now face the added challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic.

What does social distancing look like in an overcrowded refugee camp? How can one stay safe when you live in a war zone? How do one practice hygiene when you lack even clean water to drink ? What happens when the little you have to eat is now further compromised ?

 

There is a price to pay.

And very often, children and women in these communities pay the price
